Dan Brames - General Manager
Promoted in October, 2007 from his prior position as Vice President of Sales, Dan Brames oversees strategy, sales, operations and technology for Valutec. Prior to joining Valutec, Brames led the national account sales efforts for Progeny Marketing, one of the nation's largest marketing companies in the financial services industry. Also at Progeny, Brames served as Vice President of the Small Business Division where he launched the Small Business strategy with customers ranging from small community banks to some of the largest financial institutions and merchant processing companies in the country. Prior to Progeny, Brames served in a variety of senior corporate, sales and sales management roles with UARCO Business Forms and Empower Trainers and Consultants. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Administration from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale with a major in Finance.
Tom Head - Vice President of Finance and AdministrationTom Head has served as Valutec Card Solutions' Chief Financial Officer since joining the company in November 2002. As CFO, he has responsibility for all financial, legal, risk management, treasury and general administrative functions.
Prior to joining Valutec, Head was responsible for the finance, risk management and treasury functions for Nu-kote International, an international manufacturer/distributor of printing supplies.
Previously, Head served in a variety of financial management roles with Thomas Nelson, Inc. (international publisher): Rogers Group, Inc. (regional construction firm): and Pinkerton Tobacco Company (international manufacturer/marketer).
Head holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Brescia University and an MBA from Murray State University. He also is a Certified Management Accountant.
Cris Crosswy - Vice President of TechnologyCris Crosswy has 36 years of experience managing information technology from micro to supercomputers and 20 years direct experience in financial transaction processing. He held the CIO level position at, CSC Credit Services, Experian (TRW Credit), Infonet Service Corporation, Comdata Corporation and First Data IMG. He has also led organization as large as 1600 technical professionals and managed every aspect of Information Technology services including; software development, global telecommunications, systems integration, managed hosting (outsourcing), B2B e-Commerce, TQM and project management. Holds an MBA in Management from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Mo.
Al Duggan - Vice President of Business Development Al Duggan joined Valutec as Vice President of Business Development in December of 2005. In this position, he has responsibility for all marketing strategies and various sales support initiatives.
Prior to joining Valutec, Duggan served as Marketing Director of Lewis Hyman, Inc., a home improvement products company marketing products and POS programs to the nation's largest home improvement retailers such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Wal-Mart and Target.
Duggan has over 30 years of experience as a graphic designer, copywriter and account manager and has managed national advertising and package design projects for Coca-Cola, Ciba-Vision and Georgia-Pacific. He has served as Vice President of RealEstate.com and as Vice President of Mack-Solden Communications, an Atlanta-based advertising agency.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Iowa and also holds an Associate's degree in journalism.
